Lone Oak is a boutique winery located on Village Creek where trails with picnic tables wind through vineyards and stately oak trees. The award winning big red wines for which Lone Oak is known are handcrafted by winemaker Jim Evans. Estate wines from our vineyards now include three delightful white varieties.

We are the first full production winery within the city limits of Fort Worth.
Our winemaking facility allows us to cellar and bottle wine from select vineyards in California's premier wine regions.
We also craft wines from vine to bottle using grapes from our vineyard in Alpine, Texas.

Caris Turpen, an Emmy®-winning filmmaker, chose a second career in winemaking where she specializes in "big reds" made from Texas High Plains fruit. LightCatcher is a destination winery that offers many medal-winning wines, Jazz Sundays on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, and nationally recognized Bistro LightCatcher's lunch and dinner service.

Owner and winemaker, Les Constable, a retired nuclear engineer, has been growing grapes and making wine from grapes grown in our Cross Timbers soils since 1991. Les is experimenting with 36 different grape varieties to develop quality wines as unique as Texas. Well known for wines made from Spanish and other warm climate grapes.
